GENERAL

  • What is Ursa Major?

    • Ursa Major is a 3-day GRiZ curated event at the beautiful Pepsi Amphitheater and campground in Flagstaff, AZ. Ursa Major will feature live music, workshops, art, craft vending, and a chance to gather and celebrate as a community. While there are various on-site camping options available for purchase, it is limited and cannot hold all attendees. More information for lodging options below.

  • How much are tickets and all add-ons? 

    • 3-Day Tickets: $205

    • Walk-In 3-Day Camping passes (per person): $75

    • Walk-In Campers will need to purchase a 3-day parking pass for $30 per vehicle. Additionally, a parking pass with re-entry privileges can be purchased for $60 per vehicle. Space is limited, carpool is highly recommended. Walk-In camping ticket holders will receive an email to pre-purchase parking ahead of the event.

    • RV/Car Camping: $300 (Includes up to 4 people per site). 4 additional passes per site can be purchased as an add on for $75 (per person). Only one vehicle is permitted per RV/Car Camping site.

    • Day parking for non-campers can be purchased for $20/day. Space is very limited so carpooling/Uber/Lyft is highly recommended.

  • Is re-entry to the venue allowed once you’ve entered for the show?

    • Yes, re-entry is allowed for all attendees. Campers will be allowed to walk between the venue and campsites as they please. People attending for the day will be able to walk between the parking lots and venue as they please.

  • Where do I apply to vend? 

    • Vending information will be coming closer to the show via the GRiZ Presents socials. Stay tuned for further information.

  • Is there an age restriction?

    • 18+ for both the show and camping.

  • Will there be a payment plan option for Ursa Major?

    • No, there are no payment plans offered for this event.

  • Where can I apply to volunteer?

    • We are not offering volunteer opportunities at this time.

TICKETING + PARKING

  • Are there any VIP options with meet & greets included?

    • No, GRiZ is not offering any VIP offerings for this event. 

  • Are there assigned seats?

            No, the venue is 100% GA

  • How do I purchase add-on camping?

    • Add-on camping can be purchased at the initial time of purchase of your RV/Car campsite online, or over the phone if you are purchasing separately. Please call 480-656-9940 to purchase an add-on and make sure to have the information of the person you are adding on to. 

  • Will the parking lot allow cars to be parked overnight / throughout the weekend for those people without camping passes?

    • No, cars cannot be left in the lot overnight except for those who are camping.

  • What are day parking lot hours (for non-campers)?

    • Noon-11pm

  • As an RV/Car camper, can we drive our RV or car back into town during the day to purchase food/supplies?

    • No, vehicle re-entry to the campgrounds will be prohibited for safety reasons. Once parked at your campsite, you will not be able to move your vehicle (RV OR car)

  • Those who are attending Ursa Major with a walk-in camping pass will need to purchase parking for all vehicles they plan to park in the nearby lot. 

    Parking passes may be available for purchase on arrival on a first come first served basis but are not guaranteed. Pre-ordering will guarantee a parking spot for your group and will speed up your arrival process - all walk-in campers will receive this pre-order form directly from the venue prior to the event.

    Your parking pass will allow for you to leave your vehicle in the lot overnight FRI/SAT/SUN. 

    There are 2 TYPES OF PARKING PASSES TO CHOOSE BETWEEN--

    1. 3 Day Parking with re-entry: you can come and go as you please from the hours of 8 AM - 8 PM. Your vehicle will be searched upon each re-entry. This pass type is $60.

    2. 3 Day Parking without re-entry: your vehicle must remain in the lot from arrival to departure of the event. If you leave the lot, you may not re-enter. This pass type is $30. 

  • Will non-campers be allowed in the campgrounds? 

    • Due to capacity limits and security concerns, we cannot allow non-campers into the campground areas.

  • ADA seating available at the Amphitheater upon request after arrival with purchase of 3 Day Pass. Please direct any questions to info@rpmtix.com.

  • Can I transfer my ticket after I purchase? 

    • Yes, you can transfer a full ticket order, no partial orders. For partial ticket order transfers, you must manage the transfer of wristbands yourselves. If you need to transfer your order, the last day to do so is September 5th. Wristbands will be shipped out on September 11th. ONSITE CAMPING

  • Walk in camping is located in a beautiful established campground with the majority of spots being shaded forest camping. All spaces are all first come first served (there is no way to reserve a campsite ahead of time) and campers will need to adhere to spacing guidelines per person.

  • Camping will be a short .35 mile walk to the venue.

  • Campgrounds open at 10AM on Friday and close at 12pm on Monday.

  • All sites are filled on a first come, first served basis. If a camper is taking up an area larger than 12’ X 12’ in the Main Campground, they may be asked to share space as more campers arrive.

  • Each RV/CAR campsite is 18’ x 40’ (720 sq’) and can accommodate a max of 1 vehicle (car OR RV), and includes up to 4 people per site. 4 additional passes per site can be purchased as an add on for $75 each. The RV/Car spaces are in a gravel lot. You may set up tents, shade structures, etc. within the confines of your allotted space. There are no power/water hookups available at campsites.

  • There will be drinking water accessible to all campers, but personal water bottles/containers will be necessary.

  • There will be portapotties provided.

  • There will be food vendors accessible for campers as well as food inside the venue, but bringing supplemental food is strongly encouraged for campers.

  • Generators are allowed in the Car Camping area outside of designated quiet hours (1am-9am).

  • Within the campgrounds, open flame fires (campfires) are not permitted, charcoal/wood grills for cooking are prohibited. Propane stoves are allowed but must be supervised at all times.

  • Showers will be available on-site for purchase for $8/shower.

CAMPING PASSES

  1. Main Campground Pass: Walk-In Camping. Each camper must purchase a campground pass in addition to their 3-Day Festival Wristband. No vehicles allowed in this campground-- tent camping only. If camper is coming with a car, they must purchase a 3-day parking pass to park in nearby lot. Space is limited in parking lot, carpool is HIGHLY encouraged.

  2. RV/Car Campground Pass: Pass includes one 18’ x 40’ camp space and 4 camping passes. Additional campers must purchase a Camping Add On Pass. Each site can have up to 8 total campers. One vehicle allowed per spot. Any additional cars must purchase a 3-Day Parking Pass and park in the nearby lot. There are no water/power hookups at campsites. Does not include a 3-Day Festival Pass/access to the festival.

CAMPGROUND RULES

  1. You must be wearing a 3-day festival with camping wristband to enter the campground.

  2. All sites are filled on a first come, first served basis. If a camper is taking up an area larger than 12’ X 12’ in the Main Campground, they may be asked to share space as more campers arrive.

  3. No vehicles allowed in the main campground.

  4. All vehicles in the parking lot must display a vehicle pass and all campers must wear their 3-day festival and camping wristband at all times.

  5. GLASS CONTAINERS ARE PROHIBITED IN THE CAMPGROUNDS.

  6. FIRES, CHARCOAL GRILLS, AND OPEN FLAMES ARE PROHIBITED IN THE CAMPGROUNDS.

  7. Disorderly conduct, visible drug use, public drunkenness or underage drinking WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Anyone appearing intoxicated or displaying disruptive behavior will be asked to leave the campground.

  8. No fireworks of any kind are permitted at Ft. Tuthill County Park, including in the campground. This restriction includes sparklers and flaming batons.

  9. Campers must keep all camping equipment within their designated campsite.

  10. Each campground will have porta-potties. Trash receptacles and recycle containers are located just outside the campground entrances.

  11. Please help us leave the campground as clean as or cleaner than it was when you arrived.

  12. Above all, please be respectful of your fellow campers and the park.
